Koschei the Immortal (Russian: Коще́й - kɐˈɕːej Бессме́ртный) is an archetypal male antagonist in Russian folklore. He is usually depicted as an old man or a wizard, even demon riding a horse. The most common feature of tales involving Koschei is a spell which prevents him from being killed. Very often in Russian tales his soul may be inside in a needle, which is in an egg, which is in a duck.
In my artwork Koshei is much younger and looks more like a young prince or a duke. I wanted to give his image a more sweet touch.
Hope you enjoy it!
